What is natural or bio-identical hormone therapy?

Natural hormones (bio-identicals) are used when there are symptoms or medical conditions related to deficiency of our natural hormones.  They have the same molecular structure (bio-identical) as the hormones made by your body. Many people have found that bio-identical hormones are less likely to cause side effects and to relieve symptoms and decrease risk of hormone deficiency.

Robert Lang, M.D. has been using bio-identical hormones for over 15 years. Both men and woman can benefit from this therapy. Laboratory testing may be done so we may prescribe the correct dosage of  thyroid, adrenal, natural estrogen, progesterone, growth hormone, testosterone or DHEA. The prescription is then made and can be obtained from a local pharmacy or a compounding pharmacy.

Each patient is monitored through regular office visits to maintain the correct dosage. If you have these symptoms you may benefit from hormone replacement therapy:
