Woman can experience many different endocrine system diseases and conditions:  Diabetes, Menopause, Osteoporosis, Thyroid Disorders and many others. 
Woman often focus on health care for family members and loved ones, while neglecting their own health.  Taking time to maintain good health is important, for yourself and those around you.
Remember, you cannot hel anyone else more than you can help yourself.  It is important to be informed about women's health issues and to discuss them with your healthcare provider.  Of course, you must have a provider that listens to your issues and supports your healing.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death of women in the United States.  While it's true that the majority of women still believe that breast cancer is the leading cause of death in woman, the truth is more women die of heart disease than die of all other diseases combined.  Find out what you can do now to prevent heart disease later.
At each stage of a woman's life, there are important preventive health care steps to follow in order to provide early detection of medical problems, or prevent them entirely.  To maintain general good health :
Exercise regularly: aerobic (walk, seim, bike etc.) stretch (yoga, TaiChi etc.) and strength training. 
-  Eat a healthful balanced diet, low in saturated fast.  I recommend the Genotype Diet because it is individualized.
-  Have a least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day.
-  Do not smoke.
-  Get regular healthcare examinations, such as colonoscoy, skin checks etc. and find a practitioner you can work with 
    to resove health problems.
-  Learn to identify potential health problems.
-  Do not drink to excess. 
-  Wear a seatbelt.
-  Do not text or use a cell phone while driving.
