Update on office staff and services:
Kate Weyman, APRN who worked in our Madison office had a beautiful baby girl named Lucy in September, please
join us in wishing Kate and her family well. As Kate has decided to pursue other avenues we would like to announce that:
Paul Furino, APRN has joined our staff: Paul has over 16 years of clinical experience as a nurse
and nurse practitioner. He is now specializing in diabetes and all endocrine disorders. He is a Licensed Advanced Practice
Registered Nurse and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters degree in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Quinnipiac
University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Paul is a member of SIGMA THETA TAU
International Nursing Honor Society.
Genotype Diet: For those of you who have not
yet had the opportunity to discuss this with me or one of our other practitioners we are now recommending the Genotype Diet
by my internationally known colleague Dr. Peter D’Adamo. As many of you know, for more then 10 years we have been recommending
his previous books, which have sold more then 6,000,000 copies worldwide. This is due to the simple fact that there is not
any single diet that will work for everyone. Dr. D’Adamo’s first books separated us into four groups based on
our blood groups. Many have found significant success using those guidelines.
When I read Peter’s new book,
The Genotype Diet, last year, I was extremely impressed by his brilliant incorporation of epigenetic (how to control your
genes) and nutrigenomics (how foods affect our genes) into his program. If you have not already done so, pick up a copy of
The Genotype Diet at our office or on the internet. It is also available in paperback with the title: Change Your Genetic
Destiny.
The Genotype Diet with its new SWAMI computerized program creates an individualized diet based on your
genetic, epigenetic and personal health issues. Now that I have personally tested this program I am pleased to announce that
we will be able to offer The Genotype Diet with the computerized SWAMI program in our Madison office by a certified practitioner:
Lucyna (Lucy) Kwiatkowski, a Holistic Health Practitioner: Lucy combines energy work with advanced
nutrition. She was trained and certified under Dr. Peter D’Adamo in the Genotype Diet and the SWAMI program. She is
a member of Institute for Human Individuality and certified in Blood Type and Genotype Nutrition.
Lucy develops
a personalized health counseling program, combined with energy work called integrated collaborative therapies. Integrated
therapies can radically improve your life, resolve concerns specific to you, and your body, and provides you with tools for
prevention, for a lifetime of balance, self awareness and self empowerment.
Lucy is certified in Shiatsu (oriental
bodywork) and Reflexology as well as The Body Talk System. She is a member of American Oriental Body Therapies of Asia and
is a member of International Body Talk Association.
She has great results with detoxification, clearing the body
of all the toxins we encounter in our daily lives.
Treatment for addiction and cognitive improvement can include
detoxification as well as nutritional support for brain chemistry. She specializes in prevention of cancer and works with
complementary therapy use to support traditional cancer treatments. Please call our office at 203.318.5200 for more information
